Сравнительный анализ сезонно-стациального размещения волка (Canis lupus cubanensis Ognev, 1922) и оленя (Cervus elaphus caucasicus Winans, 1914) в Кавказском заповеднике

Необходимость подобных исследований продиктована тем, что хищники и их потенциальные жертвы, находясь на вершине трофической пирамиды, определяют состояние не только продуцентов, но и всей экосистемы. Проанализирована сезонная структура популяции волка и оленя на территории заповедника с использованием данных фенотеки и наблюдений последних лет. Сопряженный анализ динамики сезонного распределения волка и оленя на территории Кавказского заповедника показал их тесную взаимосвязь между собой и в комплексе с растительностью и климатическими факторами Западного Кавказа.

Population studies of large mammals have always been a priority in the system of Russian reserves. The greatest interest was represented by the conjugate dynamics of numbers and the territorial distribution of predators and ungulates. The need for such research is dictated by the fact that predators and their potential victims, being at the top of the trophic pyramid, determine the state not only of the producers, but also of the entire ecosystem. The seasonal structure of the wolf and deer population was analyzed on the territory of the Caucasus Reserve using the data of the phenotype and observations of recent years. The conjugate analysis of the dynamics of the seasonal landscape-altitude distribution of wolf and deer in the territory of the Caucasus Reserve showed their close interconnection and complex ties with vegetation and climatic factors of the Western Caucasus.
